A minuet in B-flat major in which the hands take turns with the eighth notes (the left hand in bars 1-5 and 17-19, the right hand in bars 6-7 and 11-14), with appoggiaturas in bars 2 and 4 and a trill with a two-note ending in bar 10; both halves repeated, the first with first and second endings.
How to practise it
In bars 1-5 the left hand carries the eighth notes while the right hand plays longer notes. Practise the left hand alone, then loop bars 1-5 hands together at 60 BPM.
Bar 10 has a trill on B♭ that ends with A and B♭. Learn the bar without the trill first, then add it lightly so the C in bar 11 still lands on the beat.
In bars 11-14 the right hand takes over the eighth notes, running down and back up; from bar 12 the left hand walks in quarter notes. Listen that both hands stay steady against each other.
Both halves repeat: play bar 8 the first time and bar 9 the second, then bar 25 and bar 26 in the second half.
